What a night to remember! Saturday May 4, 2013 was a stellar turnout. Thank you to all who attended. We have begun to post pictures in the photo album tab at the side. Please feel free to upload any pictures you had taken and would like to share.
Our 50th Anniversary Celebrations culminate on Friday May 10. His Excellency, Thomas Cardinal Collins, will visit Dwyer to celebrate a special Closing Mass at the school . There will be limited seating available to Alumni. If you wish to attend the Mass please email me at the school. Again seating for the Mass is very limited. Following the Mass, all are invited to a special dinner at the Oshawa Golf Club to honour once again the Sisters of St. Joseph and formally close our 50th Celebrations. Former Staff will be present at this event as well as the Sisters. There will be a cash bar and you will have the opportunity to socialize afterwards. You can attend the Dinner at 5:30 pm or simply the Social at 7pm. Cash Bar
TICKETS FOR THE CLOSING DINNER EVENT ARE ON SALE NOW ONLINE OR AT THE SCHOOL.
Interest in the Saints Alumni Award continues to grow and donations are tax deductible. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our school's rich history than to leave a sustaining scholarship for future graduates. You can also donate securely online on this website. SAINTS ALUMNI....LET'S MAKE AN EFFORT TO LEAVE A VIABLE SCHOLARSHIP FUND !
A special outdoor garden to honour the Sisters will be blessed by his Excellency, Cardinal Collins, before the closing mass. Anniversary bricks can still be purchased on Friday May 10 for $100 and will be placed in the garden afterwards. We are unable to process any credit cards so cash or cheque would be most appreciated. The money collected to support the Anniversary bricks will still go to the Saints Alumni Award/Fund. To date, over $7000.00 has been collected. WAY TO GO SAINTS !
On another note, you can easily message any alumni registered through this site . We have shut down the tab exposing emails effectively eliminating spam so there should be no reason to be concerned about your email being accessed.
Finally, PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT FRIDAY MAY 10 TO OUR ALUMNI. If everyone contacts friends then we are sure to avoid disappointment.
Looking forward to seeing all of you very soon.
